Happy late 4th of July! I was going to say it Wednesday, but we had a couple of family friends over, and I never had time to post it! : ) But Daddy had an extra day off, and so he thought we should have a last moment pool party. We had a wonderful time celebrating our country's birthday!

We went to my grandparents' lake & watched fireworks. And ate malts and ice cream-cake (which is SPLENDID) and a whole bunch of junk food and had fun w/ sparklers. Sounds like the normal 4th of July for us! =) And swam in the lake for like three days straight. It was amazing. Glad you had a good one too. ;)

You can make the soup in any pot that you have;) The dutch oven is just what they refer to as a 4qt. cooking pot.
